Game of Life
ROLES
Sole Developer
As the developer behind the AI for the Game of Life simulation, I embarked on a fascinating journey of programming and experimentation. My approach centered on imbuing the virtual cells with the intelligence to adapt and evolve according to the rules of the game. Leveraging my programming skills, I crafted algorithms to simulate the lifecycle of each cell, meticulously considering factors such as neighboring cell states and population dynamics. Through iterative refinement and testing, I fine-tuned the AI to exhibit emergent behaviors and patterns, mirroring the complex interplay of life and evolution.
GAME DESCRIPTION
The Game of Life is a classic programming exercise and cellular automaton played on a two-dimensional grid. Governed by simple rules of birth, death, and survival, each cell on the grid evolves through discrete generations based on the status of its neighbors. Despite its name, it's not a conventional game but a simulation that generates diverse patterns ranging from stable structures to moving entities like gliders. Implementing the Game of Life involves coding the rules for cell behavior and iterating through generations, making it a popular and versatile exercise in programming, mathematics, and artificial life studies.
