Artificial Intelligence / Level Design
For the artificial intelligence of Cyber Siege's enemies, I programmed behaviors of several specialized robot types to assault the player's base. This included a bulky "mech" efficient at breaking barricades, a fast "spider" prioritizing infiltration of the castle, an airborne "drone" that targets defensive turrets, and a balanced "base" robot capable in all attack forms. Implementing distinctive enemy types with strengths targeting individual defensive structures highlighted my ability to create AI promoting adaptation, increasing complex gameplay. This AI programming demonstrates my expertise developing tactical enemy intelligence to generate excitement and provide diversity in enemy units.
As Cyber Siege's level designer, I created a post-apocalyptic urban landscape backdrop to convey the game's bleak robot invasion narrative using available 3D assets. Crafting this dystopian, war-torn environment highlighted my skills elevating gameplay and environmental storytelling through intentional level design composition.
GAME DESCRIPTION
Cyber Siege throws you into a dystopian future where swarms of killer robots are trying to overrun humanity's last strongholds. You must strategically build defenses to destroy waves of mechanical enemies before they can breach your base while using an arsenal of weaponry to defeat the enemies yourself in tactical third-person shooter combat. With tower defense strategy mechanics fused with skill-based shooter action, Cyber Siege offers a unique and thrilling battle for the fate of humanity.
